Course Duration: Three days
Requirements:
Be at least 15 years old (with parents consent up to 18 years old)
TDI Nitrox Diver Certification (or equivalent)
Show proof of 25 logged open water dives
Be medically fit to dive
Description:
This courses teaches divers to use EAN (nitrox) 21 through to 100% Oxygen for optimal mixes to a depth of 40m.
The objective of this course is to train divers in benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilising EAN21 to 100% O2 for dives NOT requiring staged decompression.
Decompression techniques may be combined with this course at the discretion of the instructor.
The course is scheduled over three days. Prior to beginning the course you will be given the 'TDI Advanced Nitrox' workbook.
As with all our training we ask you to complete the knowledge reviews before you arrive for your academic presentation.
There is also a written exam and a kit orientation.
If the course is done as a stand alone, 4 dives with a minimum bottom time of 100 minutes are required.
If the course is combined with 'Decompression Procedures' then only 6 dives are required over the two courses.
Course Duration Independent Home Study followed by:
Day 1: 6 hours Theory - Classroom
Day 2: 2 Open Water Dives - Hen & Chick Islands
Day 3: 2 Open Water Dives - Hen & Chick Islands
